Symmetry Financial Group is honored to sponsor Where There’s Hope, There’s Healing, an Our VOICE event featuring Elizabeth Smart in Asheville on March 8

. When Elizabeth was 14 years old, she was abducted and held prisoner for nine months. Fifteen years later, she is now an activist, leader and bestselling author. Elizabeth exemplifies the message that there is healing and hope after a traumatic experience.
For three years, Symmetry Financial Group has supported Our VOICE, a non-profit organization that serves victims of sexual violence and abuse. The organization offers a 24-hour crisis line, an information and referral textline, case management, counseling, accompaniment to appointments and more. In addition, Our VOICE holds educational events open to the community on awareness and prevention, as well as conference speakers and consultant services.
With the support of the community and sponsors, Our VOICE has been able to answer 241 crisis calls, accompany individuals to 63 hospital visits and offer 1,553 counseling sessions to community members in the last year alone.
Symmetry Financial Group chose to work with Our VOICE because of their steadfast dedication to supporting victims of sexual violence in the local community.

Where There’s Hope, There’s Healing will take place at A-B Tech on March 8 th at 7:00 pm, with doors opening at 6:15 pm. General admission tickets are $25, student tickets are $10 and VIP tickets, which include a champagne reception with Elizabeth Smart, are $100.
